Too much weight in front of the forward axle. The car would be fine in a straight line, but as soon as you turn a corner...

Regardless of badging, a V8 in a small FWD car like that would be too much weight in the nose.

Not a Corolla.
I think the car is the Toyota Yaris, or I should say JDM's Vitz, to be more precised..

Or it is a better looking version of Scion xA, because they have same engine as at stock level but just different dress up.

But, it is a nice find on this good looking Toy, thx for my pic collection!

and lexus does not have a small FWD car
thats the point JessePS and I were trying to get at

is that a heavy RWD or AWD drive lexus could benefit from such an engine, more specifically in its F series line up
like if IS-F could have that instead
but of course like i said b4, race engine is very different from a production engine, expected life time is very different

oh heck, id be contempt with a GS-F that puts out like 500hp to go against M5

Got to love rumours . Seeing as you're in Japan, I would expect you to know the truth about Toyota's racing history. As mentioned, they only got caught one year in WRC for cheating, and then returned and still won, certainly silencing the critics. The reason they've been out of WRC for years is because of their focus on F1. With tighter integration with Subaru, they may return.

Homologation requirements, unfortunately aren't what they used to be. What with the interests of costs an all.

The FIA are a bunch of ****s.
