because people will buy it? I for one would be first to buy baby RX in Europe. I have an feeling that new RX will be too big for my taste, and my parking space, and I have no desire to look half an hour for parking space every time I get home...

In my opinion the RX is too small and does not cut it in terms of
practicality. The GS based SUV for 7 passengers sounds like a
decent idea to me.

Actually what am I saying, I hate SUV's

I'm guessing...JX will be the new model with 3 rows of seating.

Although someone on wikipedia keeps posting of a new RX lineup next year with an "L" version of the RX...

Considering what a runaway hit the RX has been, expanding to the JX might be a good idea, although it might impact GX sales...

I'm thinking it may be too many crossovers. A baby RX, a next-gen RX, *and* a GS-based crossover bigger than the RX? If all these models make it to production, I think it would be a good idea some of them are not worldwide, and limited to different markets, like the ES is currently limited to only a few markets.

GS-F is very probable, and it may share same engine block as the LF-A. LF-A production announcement at the Tokyo show shouldn't be news. Lots of news stories previously have talked about Lexus showing the production version of the LF-A in Tokyo this year.

Strange that still no word on the next-gen SC. My guess it that it's coming very soon though. IS coupe and convertible variants are pretty much a guarantee.

LS based pilarless SC-coupe should be considered.

One thing hopefully when the next gen LS comes out it be an extra 12" longer so both passengers in the back can get a massage without having to bother the people up front. Pretty much be bang for your buck, if you can't afford a Maybach or hate german made cars.

Actually, I think most people won't even want a LS THAT long. However, it would be nice to have a model that size if they introduce a new ultra-luxury Lexus model ABOVE the LS (say a V12 TT hybrid ).
There has been rumours about such a car being considered by Toyota, but nothing more than that so far . . .
