http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dl.../FREE/70304001
Possible future product plan:
1. 7-passenger crossover that is larger than the RX, similar to the LF-X/HPX concept, based on the GS platform, for the North American market.
2. Compact crossover similar to the RDX/X3, but only for the European market.
3. Lexus hybrid vehicle with unique styling, identifiable as a hybrid like the Prius.
4. IS-F in December, GS-F to follow.
5. IS coupe for 2008/2009.
6. LF-A official production announcement at Tokyo this October.
They also note that Lexus' sales grew 24% from 2005 to 2006, and that Bob Carter, Lexus Group VP, believes that the brand will continue to grow with the luxury market expanding as a whole.

BMW and Acura already have small suvs and Volvo, Audi and MB are in the works.
I don't understand if they will have the product why don't they bring it?
Its like the Honda Fit has been out 5 years in the ROW and was winning awards COTY in Japan and best selling car in Japan etc.. so they finally bring it to the US and it's a big seller. No kidding.

You know what's happening when his post count is increasing by a lesser & lesser rate
Still not clear whether the GS-F will be the next gen. with a new body style, & a Lexxus hybrid with unique body style sounds interesting too ...

I doubt if many of the models mentioned will ever get produced. Most of them will simply take sales away from exisiting models. The IS coupe makes the most sense. Also, A Lexus branded Toyota van might do well. The Mercedes G class seems to sell well.
