This is such a benchmark car that styling that I see wont hurt sells or deter the M faithful. I am most intrested in the stats! Pricing will be @ 60k and if it has @ 400hp and close to 400 ft/lbs torque it will be a winner!

yes the offical info and specs on the IS-F are nto out...but do you guys HONESTLY believe lexus can honestly create something t OUTDO what the BMW ALWAYS has? Yes the IS-F will be one hell of a car...but after seeing this M3 - MY GOODNESS...its only safe to say that THIS car will just ANNIHILATE everything in its class...im very enthusiastic about it - asa much as the handling on the new IS-F will be, this BMW will just take it to a whoel new level in drive experience.
ps. oh yah...the interior int he BMW alas shall always be crap..already know of that..lol

And you can determine ALL this about the new M3 just by looking at pictures of it

6 months ago, did you honestly believe that Lexus was going to come out with a performance arm, and make a vehicle such as the IS-F? Fact is, this is new, uncharted territory for Lexus, as the IS-F will be the first Lexus of it's kind, the first "F" model. We don't know how good it will be, or how far Toyota will push it's performance. Just looking at available info we have so far, this vehicle will surprise a lot of people.
Nobody is questioning whether or not the M3 will have great driving feel or great driving dynamics ... but nobody yet knows what the objective performance of the M3 will be.

Sounds good, but not better than the IS-F or RS-4. My opinion.

Never will you see 400ft/lbs of torque from a 4.0 NA V8 street engine spinning at 8000rpm

Just like Lexus, BMW will only do sport "their" way, not the Porsche/EVO/Ferrari/Honda/Lotus way.

That sound is inside a large building, and not what you'd hear on the streets ... but not impressed, when compared to the video of the IS-F revving (also inside a building). IMHO, it has too much of a hollow sound, and not enough growl like the IS-F does.
I think the E46 M3 sounds better actually.
