AMC Pacer. I'm old enough to easily remember when they were new...I was in my early 20's.
Among current coupes, I gotta go with the Aston DBS as the best-looking, though, of course, it costs am arm and a leg. There have been several recent production coupes, though, that I though were almost as good-looking for far less money, starting with the 1994-1999 Toyota Celica (I myself had one), the last-generation Jaguar XK8, the first-generation Volvo C70, the first-generation Mercedes CLK, and the current Ford Mustang.
