Those can't-leave-well-enough-alone types at Brabus are introducing their tuning package for the Mercedes C-Class concurrently with the redesigned entry-Merc's launch. Performance wise, the Brabus C is in the hottish range. The company's tweaked 332 hp out of the Mercedes 3.5-liter V6, mainly by way of an overbore to 4.0 liters and the addition performance crankshaft, stainless-steel exhaust and remapping of the engine computer. Torque is increased to 310 ft-lbs and top speed to 171 mph. Brabus also offers new line of wheels from 17" to 20", an aero kit, interior accouterments and other kitting. We'll see the new Brabus baby Benz at the Frankfurt show, in between bites of Handkäs' mit Musik passed around on silber platters. We love that show.

my dad and i were discussing the ugliness of cars at their launch, and how they slowly grow on you and become rather good looking.
i seriously thought the 3GS and the 2IS were really a turn-off and very boring at their launch, but these days, my dad and I both agree, they've got a substance and style befitting their class, and are very attractive.
when seen with the spy pics and such, this new C-class seriously looked totally ruined, by the way the trunk and front grille looked..but from what i've seen of the cars with the sport package, and now this Brabus greatness...
i'm quite fond of it, needless to say

I agree whole heartedly. For me, when I judge the look of a new car, I'm comparing it with the old. The current c-class has a unique style that sets it apart and makes it instantly recognizable. This new car look like a mini s-class. I prefer to see a car evolve, not a complete revolution. So this new car looks alright. I'm just gonna miss the uniqueness of the current car.
