What's wrong with them?

To me, this will only hurt sales. It reminds people of all the other years that Ford has run this slogan and the cars turned out to be crap over and over.

They need ad's significantly different to show that they are now building great cars (time will tell if they're actually great).

The worst thing a company can do is use old ad's that never delivered on there promise and begin using them again for what is supposed to be a much improved product portfolio.

Fire the advertising dept.

Well they're bringing back the Taurus, so now they're bringing back the slogan. Are they still using Brooke Shields for the ads? She had kind of a Lindsay Wagner touch.

Actually it kind of reminds me of the Mercury one...although the song says, "It's my liiiiiffffeeee"...the statement the model always makes is:

"You gotta put Mercury on your list!"

Both slogans are kinda from the 'think about this brand you haven't thought about" angle.

Ford makes some good products.....their vehicles are not all POS's. The Five Hundred/Montego (now renamed Taurus/Sable), Freestyle, Escape/Mariner, and Fusion/Milan/Zephyr(MKS) triplets are all high on my list of preferred domestics....they are all built fairly well and are a pleasure to drive. In fact, I wish Ford would keep the Escape and not replace it with the new Edge.....it is nowhere near as nice a vehicle.
The Mustang, I agree, in build quality, is a POS, but it is a POS with dynamite looks.
