I was about to jump on a RS6 two months ago. A Lexus dealership had one for 65k. Charcoal (my favorite on a car) with black leather and suede interior. Yes I do love that not too many people push these cars. Love this A8 too

Speaking of which, I have to make an appointment to bring in our less-than-a-year-old ES for a list of problems that include an automatic transmission leak, an engine that's pinging, a vent cover in the dash that keeps popping out, and a cracking noise coming from the base of the driver's seat every time I move.
I agree, though, that Audi is making some very desireable cars. If they would move away from FWD in the A4 series, I'd more carefully consider one (assuming that they kept the killer lease rates).

We are currently on our second Audi-the first we kept for eight years. Neither car has been back to the dealer for anything except the routine service visits. Our Lexus RX330, purchased new, had four unscheduled visits in its first six months!! Nothing major but still a pain I didn't expect with Lexus.

I don't know about 2nd fav Luxury Manufacturer. But Audi is definitely in my Top 5 Automakers list. You keep making cars like the R8, then I have to respect your movement. But yeah I was a fan since the age of 5 when I fell in love with their 4 ring logo.

THe only current Audis with that is the RS4 (first Audi not to have a 50/50 split) and the R8. Those are the only RWD biased Audis

I used to have an IS300, but haven't posted on CL in awhile. But Yay! Club Lex members finally taking a shining to Audi. Thus I must share a pic of my little B7 A4 while I dream of owning a B7 RS4.
You can probably tell I have a thing for AWD cars.

Lol...the RL is an '05. I got a really good deal on it (back then, dealers didn't want to budge much on a GS). It's a lease though, and I've got one more year left (thank God). The Audi remains my fun little 'project' car. I'm looking forward to '08 after I get rid of the RL. Ooooh, the choices that wait...

I just saw the A5 at the Audi Forum on Park Ave just now.
There was a reception with many suits and saw the A5 as it was being unveiled.
It is a dark red color and it looks just as good as a 335i coupe.
It looked really great and it had a V8 badging on the side.
I just hope that the engine from audi can match the twin turbos on the 335i.
With so many coupe product offerings and nothing coming out from the lexus camp, I sad to think thank my next vehicle will not be a lexus ...
On a side note, i think its nice to be one of the invited guests, as they had a few S8 and A8L as shuttle cars with chauffeurs on standby.
Also saw the german consul with diplomatic plates arriving on a A8L. You wonder why he's not on a S550 or a 750i... or even a VW Phaeton, but on a A8L.

Well! An Acura RL. ...............You ARE a wise person .
Unless you want a real AWD powerhouse like the Audi S or RS series, I consider the Acura RL to be the best AWD sedan on the market. I found the one I reviewed to be not only an intoxicatingly nice car to drive but built like the combination of a tank and a Swiss Watch as well. It richly earned a spot on my Ten Best list....along with the RWD Lexus LS460.
