Food for thought, Audi just beat BMW in two big comparison tests.
Road and Track- Audi TTS beats BMW 135i
Car and Driver- Audi S4 beats BMW 335i

So Audi is really on the upswing.

Look we all know and are aware YOU PERSONALLY hate the new LS. It is considered by every expert and anyone with a clue that it is very much in that class and in some areas, leads in that class. Its won WORLD CAR OF THE YEAR for crying out loud. It won Top Gears (yes the "we hate everything" Top Gear") Best Executive Sedan in 2006.

While the A1 and the new A8 do nothing for me...I still really like Audi as my 2nd fav behind Lexus.

mine too. i really like the R8 and S5! and i really like their headlight/tail light design! personally i feel lexus needs to add some wow factor in their lights design for their models. The LS and the hybrids and of course the LFA have cool lights, but other models like IS, GS etc can use some coolness , hopefully when the new generation comes out

audi has a new style that some of its competitors have adopted over the years. some of its models (R8, A5, S5) IMO look stunning. its unique in design, yet still captures the sport feel of the car's exterior. my secondary pick- choosing lexus as my favorite luxury brand- has still remained with mercedes benz. it has a timeless look to its frame, and year after year it produces seductive rides (except this year- lol) audi is becoming very fashionable, as evident with a new generation of drivers choosing this particular brand.

Audi is my favorite luxury brand, but like 1sick, the A8 and A1 does nothing for me. I don't know what they were thinking when they simply stretched the A4 to came up with the A8 (7-series is my fave in that class). But other than that, the beauty (inside and out) of the A5/S5, A4/S4, R8, A6/S6 and their SUVs combined with the quattro system makes it my favorite brand.

Audi, please bring the A5 sportback to North America...its stunning!

We looked at the A3 and A4 Avant at the Auto Show. Both are very nice cars but, IMO only, properly equipped they get pricey for what you get for the money.

I could be convinced to get either one though.

Well for BMW's defense... S4 used to compete with M3.. kinda unfair fight IMO.

anyway,

My favorite luxury brand over all.

1. BMW
2. MB
3. Audi
4. Lexus
5. Infiniti
6. Acura

Audi always has been my least favorite germans.
