I can promise you than if you are under 6 foot and 300lbs, they are quite good for a coupe. The one issue is that it can be hard to get out even with the front seat all the way up and folded forward.

Oh, gotchya. Ya, there is no adjustment in the rear seats, probably because they wanted the rigidity. I'm not really sure how comfy they are on the butt, I've only ever had my dog back there.

The cushion position is sort of low but the material and "feel" is actually pretty decent for a coupe. Dare I say I would rather sit in the back seat of the 3-series coupe than the back seat of the IS.

Actually I have to disagree. I just went to the Auto Show this afternoon & sat in backseats of both IS350 sedan & 335i coupe. Neither are spacious enough to be comfortable for long, but it's better to sit in the backseats of the IS350. Plus being a sedan, enter/exit is much easier.

At a Taste of Lexus event, I put the seat in an IS all the way back - to the point I was comfortable in the drivers seat (I'm 6' 1"). It trapped my friends feet below the seat - he could not get out. Dare I say it is even smaller than an A4?
edit: yes, just checked
Rear Seat Leg Room
IS: 31"
335 Sedan: 34.6"
335 Coupe:33.7"
A4: 34.3"

Rear seat comfort is not just about the legroom, I just don't find the rear seats of the 3 coupe to be comfortable. It's hard & flat to me compared to the IS350. I can't say I want to be a rear passenger in either car, neither is ideal for a long trip. I seldom would have to in any case.
