Daewoo has always taken GM's platforms and made it into their premium sedans...i remember early-mid 90s when I still lived in Korea, my dad's boss drove a "Daewoo" premium sedan, when we relocated to Australia, looked just like the Holdens the aussies drove.

It's nice to see hood ornaments come back.
I've always liked them, despite their Granny/Grandpa image (one more reason among many why I think auto-market image is nonsense). Today they are almost extinct in the American market, except for the Rolls-Royce, some versions of the Cadillac DTS, some versions of the Lincoln Town Car, and some (?) Mercedes-Benz products. Even Buick, one of the last holdouts, dumped them with the new Lucerne and LaCrosse.
