Novitec Rosso of Germany squeezes 20 more horses out of the twin-supercharged V8 in the Ferrari F430 for a total of 656 hp.

STETTEN, Germany — Novitec Rosso has come up with an "Evoluzione" update for the Ferrari F430 that manages to squeeze another 20 horsepower from the twin-supercharged V8.

In its latest state of tune, the 4.3-liter unit produces 656 hp and 488 pound-feet of torque, thanks to some tweaks to the engine management system and the superchargers. Acceleration from zero to 60 mph takes less than 3.7 seconds, and top speed clocks in at 216 miles per hour.

In addition to the Rotrex compressors, the go-faster bits include Brembo brakes, KW dampers and Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires (19s in front, 20s in the rear). There is also a stainless-steel exhaust system and a set of custom alloy wheels.

The Novitec aero kit consists of a front apron, rear diffuser and rear wing. Novitec also upgrades the cockpit with leather and Alcantara, plus an aluminum pedal set.

What this means to you: All of a sudden, the stock F430 begins to look anemic at only 490 hp.

wait, 2 blowers and only 20more hp??? I dunno jack about ferrari but is that a type-o?? and did they add any suspension parts? i really could care less about straight line peformance on a ferrari..

and i really wish they left the paint white b/c white is so beautiful on a ferrari IMO.

I think they were implying from the regular Novitec Rosso F430. The stock F430 doesnt come with 630hp it comes with 490 as stated.

I love what Novitec does to their Ferraris... This is no different. I love this one too!!!

Im with Coco, Im not really feelin' stripes. I'd much prefer it if it were solid white. However, it's still hot.

I don't care for the stripes either, it's still pretty good overall, but I still prefer traditional Ferrari red ...
