That crashed very nicely!

I'd also like to see it in the offset crash!

Very nice, and I too would like to see an offset and side impact crash of this.

it just didn't go off. I believe that was the xp2 car, the one used for crash tests. Either way, the McLaren f1 is not only one of the cars with the highest top speed, but it is the best all-round car. It is not only a driver's car, but it is also a very practical, and safe car for a family of 3 . BTW you can even tow things with the McLaren f1.

From my understanding they only had to crash one to get it certified.

Looks great but at least 50% of the cars in my area are SUVs and trucks so if either one of the two hit me in a McLaren F1, I think I'd be dug under the other car.

That's gotta suck to purpously total a million dollar car.

But yeah, it crumbled perfectly.

Side crashes in the McLaren would probably be one of the safest in the industry (for the driver). Sitting in the middle brings you further from the doors than any other car. Plus, the drivers seat has tremendous support for that side wiplash.

Too bad you wouldn't be able to hold a conversation in the McLaren F1. The noise inside the cabin is quite loud.
