I'm guessing that the 2009 model year is when we should expect to see the new RX. Maybe as early as January 2008? Just wondering since if that's the case there maybe already been some rumors out there.
I'm probably looking to replace our 4runner with an RX. We just don't have a need for a body on frame SUV, really - we don't tow anything and if we did it would be a very small runabout ski boat or jet skis which I have to assume the new RX would handle fine, right?

Glad to see that you were just joking... but that's still pretty disturbing to see how blatantly they copy other's designs.

next gen RX will be shown by the end of this year and start sales shortly after that... Most european mags have it under November/December intro, with sales starting soon after that, depending on the market...

I'd take the body on frame SUV over these unibody SUV anyday. I prefer the truckish ride. I, too, don't tow anything.
Next gen GX? now that's what I want (if I have money).

I have high expectations for the next RX, just as I had for the new LS. But maybe I should temper a bit.
Nonetheless, I can envision a new RX becoming even more of a technological showcase. I just hope they don't do LX 570 styling.

There's the RX-F?! lol jk.
Lexus is actually doing a good job of keeping their stuff secret until the day of. Since there are a lot of car tabloids that can't be patient and leak info, Lexus is doing their part in surprising us with goodies. It keeps the excitement up, just like the old days.
