I pressed them on the issue of the V6 RAV4 and I got the sense that they were trying to give enough space for the 4Runner and its power. We don't have the Highlander, so that might make sense. Except, one Toyota salesman at a local dealer told me it is a big problem for them as people will go up the street to the Honda, Mazda or Nissan dealer and get something else. The consumers here are very well aware a V6 RAV4 exists in the U.S.

It's 87 octane regular and 92 octane premium.

The 4Runner is probably more suited, anyway, to driving conditions there than either the RAV-4 or Highlander....especially away from the cities.

Hmm just noticed they all have identical wheelwell arches. I personally like the way the GMC looks in real life much better than the other two. I like my cars masculine.

Last time I checked, you don't have to be male or female to buy a car.....the average dealership will sell ANY car to anyone who has the money and insurance for it.

The same way you define colors, clothes, music, personal hygiene products, food, and more as masculine or feminine.
No it doesn't mean only females or males should be buying/using said product, but it does mean it's probably going to be more popular with a particular gender.

I am going to state this more often. Near luxury and Tier II luxury brands needs to seriously consider their place in the market. With non luxury brands making products as good if not better, just not having the "badge", well they need to be concerned. They don't have enough prestige for people to not seriously consider a non luxury branded car that is comparable.

+1 for loving my Rx-8 as well.
Made my mom test drive the Cx-7 to get her away from her Rendezvous and she instantly fell in love. Now if only it came with a standard transmission...

Most people who want this class of vehicle....and buy them......don't want manual transmissions. It would not be worth the manufacturer's time or trouble to offer one.

I was stating my personal taste, I like cars that has some beef.
I like flared wheelwells, a wide track, a nice stance, big bodies etc.
I see these design ques as masculine so thats the word I use to discribe these characteristics.
I buy cars I define as masculine it appeals to my likes.
