I don't really want to comment on yet another photochop by some random artist.

Interesting how BMW's gonna pursue Lexus with an 8-speed auto, though.

Nothing has been 'revealed' on the design, this is just all guess work.

I like it. The "Bangle Butt" has been minimized (almost eliminated) and the overall look is clean. I also like the headlights. And the wheels. Of course, the concept drawing always look better than the production car!

It actually makes the 3GS look a little dated...

Like it better than the current design. To me, it looks very similar to the 3 series (as far as design theme is concerned).

Either way, BMW will turn out a pretty nice looking car. Even some of the Bangle-ish lines from his years were okay to me. You know that on some nice wheels, kitted, dropped, the car will be

I think pure Lexus owners just have a negative association with the name Bangle, and just automatically have a negative bias towards bimmers.

My parents have a 530i, and I think it's a gorgeous car...but Bangle...why?

Why'd you kill the 5-series this way?

I agree.

Down here I see so few 5 series due to very high prices, but the few I see I so often confuse as 3 series until I look closer. We have a 550i that sometimes shows up at my 1/4 mile track and it runs just a tad slower than the 4 door 335i that shows up once a month.

Does anyone else think that BMW cars are looking more and more feminine by the generation?
