If the FT-HS is what the car is to be based on, it'll be a 2+2.
Given the target price point, I doubt it, but then again its powertrain has to be far more advanced than the GS450h to be so much more powerful (400hp vs. 339hp), so um... yeah, let's wait and see...
and i was hoping that they would use synergy 3 instead of synergy 2 in the GS450H

toyota did say that synergy 3 will be cheaper to produce than synergy 2 though
due to new manufacturing technology and mass production of the new and more efficient motors
but yeah that has yet to be proven as toyota is still working on it
im keeping my eyes very close on the dev of this car and the synergy 3 and keeping my fingers crossed

This is honestly going to be the car I buy when I graduate. The folding roof idea is awesome as well.
I don't care if it carries a Supra nameplate to it, in fact I don't want it to.

I don't think this should or would be a g37 bmw 335 fighter. That's what the IS350 is for. This is a lower lux 350z fighter for sure and should be a good one. Would make a good stablemate to the IS. Can't wait!

^^from the link:
"This is really a concept car, so we'll judge reaction to that," Mr Gardner said.
"Toyota can turn a car around pretty quickly, so for this kind of vehicle we are looking four to five years down the track."
Are they calling "four to five years" quick? I can barely wait till 2009 and they're still saying 4 to 5 years. Toyota, if you are judging our reaction, get this: WE WANT THIS CAR!!! I have my money ready if it's anywhere near the target price (of $35k)!!
Love that pic of the rear too!
