I'm having a hard time desiding what I want. What would you guys get if you had a choice, 97-00 Sc300 or 99-00 GS300?

i heard the sc200 is a crappy car.

Defenately the GS. The SC is a better looking car, but its dated and probably worn out. The 2nd gen GS is built much better.

 

That's why I can't deside. The SC looks good but the GS is more lexury.

2GS looks great as well, and I think it's not as dated as the SC.

 

Both are great, a lot depends on what you want to do with it, daily driver, track, show, etc.

 

For me, being a Coupe guy all my life I'm surprised at my choice. I would choose the GS300 no question. I already did the SC thing with my old SC400 and wasn't really impressed with the car. I've always liked the 2nd gen GS and have many friend's with them in both GS3 and GS4 versions. For me it is a much better car.

 

i would only get the sc if it was a 5spd. other than that ill take the gs all the way. the gs actually has a trunk lol

I am on my 6th SC, and still have a GS...
Always love the sexy look of SC and no doubt GS is more luxury, if you will only get one car, yes, the vote goes to GS.

yes the "sc200" is a crappy car....horrible, just plain bad, why would Lexus come out with such an atrocious vehicle .... I wouldn't come near one with a ten foot pole.... /end

The Sc200 was a typo...lol. I couldn't go back and edit it.

You guys replies are really helping me weigh my choice. And to answer somebody's question above. I just want a daily driver that's a looker. I want it to catch people eyes with it's agressive look, but I wouldn't make it a show car persay, not even a track car. I have a turbo AE86 corolla, so I have my fun car already. I don't have any kids and I normally only roll with 1 person so space is not really an issue.
