I'm not sure these two compare at all. The S5 is sort of an anomaly. It's going to be less expensive than the 6 series, but more than the 335i (which should match its performance), and it'll be right in between size wise. I think more people will cross shop the 335i, and I think all the comparo's will include those two rather than the 6.
In the case of the OP; I'd say you have to drive them. They are going to be very different.

I found these pictures which are absolute sex when looking at this car from the inside. The build quality, refinement, fit and finish/feel looks outstanding. On par with lexus. Its just beautiful. Comapring it with a 6 series..i think it wins hands down on the looks alone. The S5 seats, cockpit, stack, and instrument cluseter guages are simply a perfect 10.0 out of 10.0 are G O R G E O U S!!!!!
