Got some money in the bank? You'll need it.
In fact, check out the Corvette Z06 before you buy a GT3, and see if the Z06, in many ways doesn't give you more for your dollar....although its braking performance is not quite up to the GT3's.

I just got a chance to drive a new GT3 at the world class driving event.
What impressed me was that the car was both easy and comfortable to drive and at the same time was borderline exotic.
If you want to drive it slow and quite it's fine with that but if you want to turn it up to 11 it will play along. It's not super tight or unconfortable, its not difficult to get in/out and has good visibility.
At the same time I got to drive the Aston Vantage which costs the same. The Vantage is nicer looking but aside from that and the cachet that goes along with the AM name (IMO) the GT3 was all around better. The GT3 was more fun to drive and had more ***** (etc.) while it can be mistaken for a lesser price car which lends a bit of stealth.
