I would not pay a cent over $65 for the GT-R no matter how many gizmos and options and thingamagigs they add onto it.
I will pay twice that much with a WIDE smile on my mug for the LF-A. I will possibly and very likely have to pay more than twice that much for it in reality.

If the 7 series is your daily, then why not get an all out sports car? I remember you had a 350Z - do you need a 4 seater? And are you committed to buying a new car?
If you can buy a real 2 seater sports car and don't mind a used car, I'd rather have a supercharged 02+ NSX or 996 turbo. Both will likely cost less than any of your current choices and be much faster/more involving.
And speaking of curbside appeal, even an SL55 is within that range.

Interesting you mentioned the NSX! I've always loved that car and even contemplated doing just that: A 2001 super-clean and superchaged. BUT... with a family now, I find myself looking at more practicle and roomy performance. Even with a 100 or so extra hp in the Acura, it'll still be underpowered compared to these cars. And I'd get a CLS 55 before a SL55.

Audi has been consistently bringing extremely classy and tasteful designs to the market ever since the B5 A4 and they continue to do so, one of my favorite companies exterior and interior design wise.

An SL55, though more a grand tourer than a sports car, is much more of a sports car than a CLS55.

Also, I agree, a simple bolt on Comptech SC NSX is more than enough power to move the NSX to comparable performance times (0-60 and 1/4 mile) than most anything out today with high HP. If you go with a turbocharged NSX your only limitation is traction. My local NSX friend has a Factor X 500+ WHP car and traction is the huge problem. Too me, 350-400HP is more than enough on an NSX since it can get you into the low 11s easily.
