One of the best cars out there for its time. With the new V8 M3 coming out I figure the avg. price of a E46 M3 will drop about $5k so a decent milage '01-'02 could be had for around $21k-$26k when the '08 comes out. Who knows what will happen in the next year.
Yeah, kinda like that GTO huh?

EV ftw!!!
One of my favorite cars of all time!!
It's called "progress", "thinking-out-of-the-box-design", "modernistic", etc etc . Don't you get it????

Aw I will be very sad to see the E46 M3 go. If I could buy ONE and only one car, the E46 M3 would be it. It's a great example of the BMW marque. It was very good at everything, without flattening your wallet or totally beating you up inside. Plus it wasn't too flashy like some of the late BMWs.
I do hope to buy one used someday. I won't care if I can afford somethin better; I just want to own one.

And no inline-6? That was a huge disappointment for me. I don't like the interior nor the rear-end styling. There's too many "I don't likes" with the new E92 M3.

What's wrong with a V8? It makes more power, still revs high, and is actually lighter. I actually LIKE the E92 rear end.
