The redesigned 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will start at $31,975 for a C300 Sport Sedan with the Luxury variant of the C300 starting at $33,675, the German automaker announced today. Both models are powered by a 3.0-liter V-6 with 228 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Transmission options include Benz's now familiar seven-speed automatic and a six-speed manual (available only for the C300 Sport).
The range-topping C350 Sport Sedan comes with a bigger V-6 that puts out 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and will start at $37,275. All prices include a $775 destination fee.
The 2008 C-Class will be arriving in dealer showrooms come August 7. Both C300 variants will be available with 4Matic all-wheel drive starting in September. 4Matic will not be available on the C350.

I love the exterior styling!! Especially with the sport package. The interior leaves me feeling empty though. What happened to the days with the leather door trim? The interior plastics look cheap too, but according to some of those that have been in it, it doesn't feel too bad.
I'm surprised they're using a carryover engine, but then again, the engine is only a few years old. Not the best timing I guess.

Interor looks like a Honda
Exterior like a Hyundai
Performance is average
Why buy this? Lexus and BMW are duking it out with the IS and 3, heck the new G35/37 is a great improvement over the previous car and heck I think the Acura TL , an older car, is better than this thing.
WHy buy this? What is the reason?
