They have Type-R super zoom sercurity cameras that claims to have amazing clarity and resolution but it didn't really catch anything that night, just a couple fuzzy black spots.
I'd venture a guess and say the thieves are not professionals. They left behind the REAL goodies on the Mugen version. Suspension, motor, etc.
All they got were easily sold "quickie" items that are probably on ebay as we speak.
Read the article carefully. The vandalized car was a Mugen Si, *NOT* a Mugen RR. The two are noticeably different cars.
The Mugen RR is a serious machine, with a tuned motor, tuned suspension, among other things. It's for Japan only. Meanwhile, in the US we get a "fools" version with the Mugen Si. The Mugen Si is essentially nothing more than cosmetic upgrades. There might some slight suspension changes but nothing significant. The main differences between a Mugen Si and the regular Si are the wheels, shift ****, steering wheel, spoiler etc. The engine remains stock just like a regular Si.
