I did some nice canyon driving this morning with two other M6's, an M5 and a couple of 650i's, Mullholland to the PCH. The V10 sound is simply intoxicating, listening to it's beautiful whine through the tunnels on Kanan Dume was amazing. Taking the twisties in 2nd and pushing out into 3rd... wow.. just wow...
With massive brakes, it can be done Have you seen the Hans Stuck run in a stock M6 on the Autobaun? He could of hit the 200mph mark but had to brake due to a slow moving x5 in the fast lane. 194 mph to 100 mph in a blink of an eye

I guess it's an acquired taste... unless the BMW V10 is near redline, it sounds like two 5-cylinder Audis driving right next to each other (at the same speed).
I like the ACS car because it's different and bold. It's not your normal silver Hamann or Dinan car, that's for sure. At the end of the day, the car got tons of attention in magazines and the press; like it or not, it's an effective marketing tool.
