Well noted.

I think the G35 is a great car for the price. You get a little more with the IS, but the G definately provides more than enough. BMW needs to take note of how the G is able to balance quality and price...

Can't compare a Japanese car price to a German. The costs are different across the board.

Well its fast. After watching Transformers, my bud and I and another bud in his S2000 got some runs in. I did have my sister with me but I lost each time from a start. Now I am working on a special project with my car so I cannot take off VSC or go in Powermode currently but IMO it would not have made much difference.

We got to about 30mph the same but he pulled on me HARD. The funny thing is when the twisties came up, I blew past the S2000 and G35 simply b/c I know my car better than they do theirs.

So yeah, its fast.

Another note. In Atlanta, you can lease
G35-379 a month
IS 250- 399 a month

With nearly the same down payment....Infiniti leases are very attractive.

Yes, there are reasons for that, mostly because of the high price of labor and materials in Germany. That is why more and more of the German car industry is relocating outside of the country. For example, Audi recently shifted TT production from Germany to Hungary.

That's interesting, considering that on the whole, Infiniti products usually depreciate more than Lexus products, which, of course, affects their projected residual values and, all other things equal, would result in higher lease rates for Infinitis.

Neither 1SICK or myself believe in mudslinging on a car review just for the sake of mudslinging (Heck, we see enough of that from Jeremy Clarkson) When we review a car, we try and do it objectively....and 1SICK, in some ways, does a better job than me.

I think there are several people here who may love Lexus but know how to judge other makes objectively. I, for one have never profested Lexus to be a perfect car or brand. Overall, I think it's the best but I haven't experienced them all. Lexus has missed the boat in several areas but overall I'd say they are best.
