Default 2JZ-GTE S2K For sale

I'm sure you guys have seen this swap before but, it's still sweet to see such a great motor in a great car.

That's crazy... I'm pretty sure it's been posted here before. And by the looks of it, there is more than one out there... So I'm assuming the balance of the car isn't thrown too out of whack.

I'm sure the balance is quite off

going from an aluminum block I4 to an iron block I6 is going to do quite some punishment to the front end.

One thing I love about the s2000 is that the engine bay is quite long. it makes a lot of I6 feel like home I couldn't believe how much space there is when you take out the air box alone!

just add some dead weight in the trunk and call it a day.

The engine is positioned behind the front wheels for better weight distribution and balance (think front mid-engined). That's why the 2jz can be shoehorned in there without killing the handling.

Yes correct, but a 2jz-gte weighs nearly 300lbs more than the F20C. That's still a good amount of weight to the front of the car, even though it sits just behind the front strut tower.

The effect on weight/handling is a non-issue. I'm pretty sure the target audience for a car like this isn't an autocrosser

Nice looking swap. That thing is pretty quick. I guess the owner did not like the s2k's Civic-like torque. haha.

Yeah. I believe people interested in the swap are more interested in power and actually going fast than talking about weight balance being thrown off

It's a nice swap, but if I went through all that trouble to build it I'd get a better video of it than at night.

Bad platform then. The wheel length is too short for a drag racer. A 2JZ is impressive in anything though.
