2009 BMW M3 Convertible spotted on Nurburgring

Pole Position
Well, it looks very similar to the new 335i convertible...and they both don't look quite right. The hardtop just looks out of proportion with the rest of the car. It's just a tad too tall, and there's a tad too much trunk out back. I think it's an "almost", but "not quite".
But I really like the way the new 335i coupe looks.
And I liked the previous M3 convertible, that ol' soft top looked quite nice to me.

I think the only new BMW line that looks decent is the 6 series.
I would take a previous-gen 540i in a heartbeat. Just lower them with some springs, and they look sexy.

I love the new E92 but what bothers me most about it is that the design looks very similar to the 335i vert. It takes away the prestige of driving one but the coupe you can tell from most angles.

im sure you would be able to tell the difference between the M3 and the 335i on the road because of the lines (kinda like the previous gen M3), just by the stance and flares, you could tell really easy

For car freaks yea it would be easy to tell the difference but how about people that don't notice the difference between the last gen 3 series and the new gen 3 series.
