Whoops. I didn't realize it was alphabetical and all I saw was Los Angeles in between Kansas City and Miami. My bad.
Okay so it looks like they do recognize the massive crowds from previous events and simply added the half day to the LA weekend. Maybe I'll go on Friday to avoid the crowds....YAY!

yeah i think it's great that they add half day more for friday, though of course it'd be silly for me to take day off for that @_@

IS-F wont be available to drive for the public until after it's launch in January 2008. However the press will be able to get their hands on it after the October embargo date. More to come.

Because there were over 50,000 people that went through TOL last year, they have to control the invitations. Priority goes to invited guests, then those on the standby list after....granted there is space available.

tried the website this morning w/ the invite code and it finally worked! i think it was overloaded this weekend maybe, becuase the same slots that were available 48 hrs before were still there this morning. so they probably fixed the glitch and had it up and running this morning.
i am glad they went to invites and also only 1 add'l guest allowed, so i am really crossing my fingers that 1 1/2 hr waits to drive a car are reduced to < 30 min...

there's a huge TOL discussion already in car chat. This post is a good place for that.
