Lately they've been trying to discourage it just to make it fair to others in the other markets. Because TOL is so popular, Lexus has been trying their hardest to accommodate everyone. If you got an invite for one, you are not going to get an invite for a different event.

oh ok. i registered myself at the event at OC using the invite i got, but some other friends registered me again fro the one at santa anita, dunno if im gonna go though. anyways.

Will they allow you to grab food for your small kids? After all, <18 years old aren't required to register in order to attend; granted that teenage kids won't be able to drive and, w/o the access card, won't be able to gain entry to the food tent either...but what about the little ones (e.g., 5 and under)?

In any case--dang, I guess I better grab something to eat for breakfast before showing up since the lunch menu choices look much more appealing then the breakfast choices--LOL!! Yeah, I know people don't go to these events primarily to eat, but heck if they're giving out free food and require that you make a choice between breakfast and lunch...at least it'd be nice to know ahead of time as to the food offerings (thanks to the person who posted pics of the food menu!)...

they will allow you to pick up an extra plate for the kids. just let them know. we had no probs.

i went to el toro at 2pm and was only able to drive 2 cars. i wanted to try out the is350 so hopefully i get an invite or can go to the santa anita one.

flipside909, you say there's something special going on for the santa anita? are you able to tell? does it have something to do with the is-f?

yea what is the big news? i still havent decided if i should go again. at the beginning of the event they said that if you have small children or people not driving that when you go for food they will also have food for everyone in your group.

they even told us over the phone, if you wanna go early, go ahead.

my son got a plate no questions asked, so don't be afraid to bring kids.

I had a good time at this years ToL, but the whole time I was there I felt there was something missing that I just could not put my finger on... I was just going over my video's from last years event as well as this years and there it was... MUSIC! There was no music at this years even while waiting in the lines. It was a much more festive environment with background music. Too bad I didn't realize it in time to make a note of it during the exit survey.
