LOL, I'll be dead honest with ya Henry on why you'll never see me in a car over 100k. Cars are the worst investments you can make. Depreciation is worse on them than anything on the planet. If I was going to invest 100k, it sure as heck wouldn't be in a vehicle. It's the quickest way to lose money short of a trip to vegas.
My limit is "around" $50k....... but that still doesn't mean I can't drool
Besides, the old CLK still looks pretty good beside it, I wasn't completely disgusted while getting back in my car.
ah i see your point brian now i know about all the cars you have/had
I saw one of these at a beach club on Thursday night. I was trying to find a parking spot and damn near wrecked when the M6 caught my eye..... there were witnesses!

Unless the car is a car in high demand where people will pay a premium (i.e First gen M5, Enzo, SLR Mclaren, numbers matching muscle and vintage cars) it is never an "investement". I think what you meant was that its usually the second to third biggest purchase and the only being without a return. Where the national medium of apprecaition in property nationwide was around 5-8% in 2006 cars drop a good 10-20% when driven off the lot. Dont quote me on numbers, my memory might not be serving me well.
I'm on the same page with you O, I think 50 maybe, 60 if Im eating too many sour-patch kids, would be my max now.
You also get the full alcantara headliner. Coming from a 650i with leather to a M6 with the extended leather, it's a dramatic difference. Full dash & center console. If you are going to do it, do it right
Wait, are you saying you have to get the extended leather to get the Alcantara headliner? I seriously hope not; I love the Alcantara but don't care for full leather.
I hate how BMW bundles everything for NA. I'd like my options a la carte like in Europe.

I didn't even look at any cars with the non extended leather. It's my understanding to get the full alcantara (all the way back to the rear deck) you need to order the extended, Otherwise it stops at the visors.
FWIW: My car is equipped the same as that sticker above with the addition of the dealer installed MOST Bus iPod interface. (well.. that and a 1.25 drop all around and a set of Radenergie R5's)

Hmm interesting. Eh M6 is a tad too big though..........something I'd love to drive but not necessarily own. "Big coupe" just doesn't quite work for me, a subjective thing. It is a gorgeous car though.........I've always liked the 6er's styling.
