Dude, Lexus cars are available as addons for the xbox360 version of the game, so licensing isn't an issue. I think Atari may be waiting for the sales of the game to slow down, and then maybe release addon car packs, hopefully inlcuding Lexus and more, to boost the sales once again.

Well, dont coun't on TDU, or any other mainstream game to have the physics anywhere near to LFS. You gotta remember that LFS caters to a very small nishe, while TDU, NFS, etc are catering to a huge number of games, including consoles.

 

licensing to the PC version i believe is separate from the xbox360 version
im not counting on TDU to really hone the physics
just dreaming

for once, i just want to play a game with real super cars and good physics
and im not talking about the sauber F1 car in LFS

Well, in Test Drive's defence, at least it's physics aren't as bad as the latest installment of NFS series, which has gotten completely ridiculous. I remember playing the first NFS game back in the late 90ies, now that was a great game.

 

ah yeah the first 2 NFS games were awesome

i dont even care about NFS game physics anymore as its designed to be fun and not to challenge me with realism

TDU is meant to simulate a real world environment with its reality-mimicking map of hawaii and real cars
heck they even copied a real garage
