We really need to find a better term for "four door coupes."

How about "sedan". "Four door coupe" is just too silly for me to say in real life.

I like 'em. Now if they just don't overprice them vs. their direct competition, which VW seems to have done recently with their Jetta and Passat.

VW doesn't always have a choice about this. Being a German company, they are often stuck with higher development costs than competing firms, despite the fact that VW has plants in low-cost countries like Mexico, Brazil, and China. VW engineers and developers, for the most part, are in Germany, and get very high pay and benefits.

good luck. VW wants to move upscale cause they don't want to compete with Toyota (makes you wonder if it'll cannibalize Audi sales) but yeah....

Good luck on VW moving upscale. Remember the Pheaton? Yikes! As you pointed out, that's what Audi is for.

VW should bring back the Wolfsburg Editions.. I love the old Jetta Wolfsburg Edition of the early 90's.

Hmm, I guess I forgot one part. I remember the article stating a price increase (sorta what Acura Canada is doing.. randomly jacking up prices to make their cars look expensive)
