Sounds like you will get a new vehicle out of this, so thats on the plus side. Sucks to go through all this though, I hate dealing with insurance companies

Huzzah! Just got the body shop's insurance to cough up full replacement at current market value, included all taxes and fees. Originally, they offered full replacement at what we spent end of December 06. Fairly well convinced/scared 'em (hah) into understanding that we would not accept that due to the total negligence on the part of the shop. And they came back with the right numbers!

Now, the hard part... finding a 2007 Flint Mica/black leather/Nav/Prem Plus with 18's.

Not real fond of renting a car 'til October when the 2008's arrive, and selling near full MSRP... though the Brandywine, Desert Sage and Smoky Granite colors are very tempting...

Well, McGrath found a car for us, and we picked it up on Saturday.

By the way, now that it's settled, the body shop was Gerber on Halsted in Chicago.
