That last poll was interesting. Good to see a Lexus in the
"straight car" category... although I personally believe real
men go for the big engine... (IS 350).
Of course, this did appear to be a European poll

Bit bought his Miata for its driving fun, especially in the FL climate he lives in, not because the car was considered either "gay" or "straight" (and I guess he can fit in it) . In fact, where I live in the DC area, Miatas seem to be very popular with straight women, both young and old....not necessarily Lesbian ones, though many small-to-average size men drive them as well. Miatas are not terribly popular with large or tall men for obvious reasons...their cabins, with the top down, are just too cramped for people over about 6' or 6' 1".
I have reviewed the latest-generation Miata soft-top (a folding hard top is now available) , and, while not quite as cramped inside as the last two models, its cabin is marginal for my 6' 2", 275-lb. frame.

Just for the record, even after decades of following the auto market, I don't see any clear pattern of so-called "gay" and Lesbian" vehicles, with maybe a couple of exceptions.....you guys know I don't buy a lot of this so-called image" stuff.
But there DOES seem to me at least some signs of a pattern that can back up the thread list, with a few vehicles. A number of Lesbian women that I know or have known DO seem to be into Saabs (why, I don't know...they don't say why; just seem to be attracted to them)........and one gay guy I work with is really into Jetta diesels. He loves them and has owned several, but from what he tells me, it is not a gay life-style-centered choice....he loves the 50-60 MPG on the road and the chance to get hybrid fuel mileage without hybrid complexity........a topic I have brought up repeatedly in the diesel-vs.-hybrid threads.
Of course, some will say, "marshall, your limited experience with gay and Lesbian car owners may not be enough for a real conclusion here on your part." I won't argue....maybe they are correct. I have helped a few of them with their auto-consulting and shopping needs (I help anyone who asks me), but I am not into that lifestyle myself and tend to avoid that culture.
