Default RX 350 vs MDX. Help me advise my Mother

My mother is torn between a 2008 RX 350 and a 2007 MDX. The difference in price is $2400 more for the RX. Both are equally equipped with nav and everything else. I feel the RX is better, but I want some more info/backup. Thoughts??

For the plusher ride, go with the RX. For the more stable ride, go with the MDX.

If you can wait. A completely re-designed RX will debut late next year.

I told them that but due to an accident, a vehicle needs to be purchased now.

Yeah. I printed out a bunch of threads for them. But since they are making the decision this weekend I wanted to get a last group of thoughts.

Sorry for duplicating discussed info. I just want to help as best I can.

If it was for me I would pick the MDX if it were for my mother I'd get her a RX.

You cant go wrong with either though.

That pretty much sums it up for me. You can't go wrong with either one, but if I were getting it for my mother it'd definitely be the RX.

I prefer the touchscreen on the RX over the MDX ****, plus IMO the RX looks much better.

For a woman definitely the RX if you don't need the extra space.
The materials in the RX are quite nice - soft leather, etc.

If I were choosing for myself it would be the MDX because the FWD
RX is too dreadful for me to contemplate driving on a daily basis.
The Gillette grill would have to go though.

Will you be the one taking the car for service?

Which dealer is better for you then?

I would pick the rx for her. The rx is so easy to drive and maneuver, power liftgate too.

Having driven the RX350 on a recent trip to the U.S., the RX350 is more maneuverable than the current generation MDX I drove here.
