Yup.. what's interesting that here on CL... minimal response to a rave review, find one that knocks it and the vultures swirl
This car is a certain winner
How about knock-off the CL commentary
Good article but the majority of reviews disagree with TopGear. Either way, the car is a winner and with BMW projecting 100,000 will be sold, a lot of happy people.

Actually, not really. Extremely positive reviews from Evo as well Car And Driver. Keep in mind, the car won't be on the streets in the US for months. Who knows what happens in that timeframe.
There's tons of dealers that take deposits before getting pricing. Whether they are allowed or not seems to be a dealer specific policy not a BMW policy. I know people who are locked into whatever the MSRP pricing is. A good Car Advisor will keep their word on this.
Did your dealer release the official pricing? I asked my dealer and they are not allowed to take names until they receive official pricing from BMW.
No, unfortunately not. They are very tight-lipped about giving out ANY information. I was asked for a down-payment. MSRP certain. My dealer is, Don Mackey BMW, in Arizona. I am seriously hoping for the first allocation, but it'll probably be second.
LOL!, you're probably right. It is very unlikely your dealer will get 6 M3s in their first allocation. The biggest dealers down here in SoCal will get 2-3 max the first month from what I have heard.

Yup.. I drove down to Steve Thomas in Camarillo and placed a deposit last Dec. I'm 7th on their list and they only sell at MSRP. Not a penny over. I may have them knock $1.00 so I can say I bought it under MSRP

Yeah I figured. Wishful thinking on my part. The wait and anticipation for the e92 M3 is nothing short of amazing. P.S. OC 335i; your car is BEAUTIFUL.

Thank you, I'm sure your M3 will be beautiful as well. What color do you want?

Alpine White with an Auburn interior. Alpine White M3s just give a classic look IMO. Second on my list is definitely Jerez Black. Very menacing look. Black just gets too dirty out here in the desert though.
