Wow...for DUI...in most european contries you get youre licence revoked for 1-3 years...AND get a fat fine aswell.
Life in the America's easy, especially here in Canada. Even if you kill someone, especially here in Quebec with your car nothing really happens. Think we need too mow down a couple politicians for the law too actually change.
Yes, guys, but don't forget....a suspended license only MEANS something if you actually REFRAIN from driving while it is suspended. Too many people don't......some get caught, some don't. That is one of he main reasons why the judge finally decided to lock Paris Hilton up.....not just for DWI, but driving with a suspended license and breaking probation as well.

I totally agree - a couple of politicians and maybe a judge or two! We have a case going on here right now in which a guy mowed down someone a couple of years ago while road racing and killed the person. He got a "conditional sentence" which meant NO JAIL TIME. Then he got caught road racing again just a week ago and was arrested again. Looks like the slap on the hand he received the first time really worked!
However, the penalty for driving while drunk, at least here in BC, is pretty harsh and absolutely appropriate. It includes a mandatory 1 year Licence suspension and a stiff fine upon conviction. And if you get into an accident as a result of drinking, your insurance is going to skyrocket!!!
One thing is, if your caught drunk at the wheel, they should take the car and put in into a car compactor, like what they are doing with people that street race.
Uhg that sucks, I love the silver C's. It was a great looking car.
You're right...it WAS a great-looking car...until the accident.
Mercedes, IMO (and I guess you'll agree?) does silver paint better, perhaps, than any other manufacturer...after all, they pioneered classic silver paint jobs, though Toyota and Lexus probably do the highest overall-quality paint jobs in general.
