Im trying to find an RX commercial that advertised their backup camera. I think it was called "5 percent" or something, where the tag line was "a person spends just 5 percent of their life in reverse...that was 5 percent we didnt want to miss" or something like that.

they used to have that on the Lexus website, but they took it out. grrr

anyone know where i can get a copy? perhaps one of you loved the commercial so much you downloaded it? haha

I dont specificially want that commercial but a year or more years ago, there was this RX commercial showing off its homelink system. A couple wakes up late and need to go to an appointment. When they get out of bed, one of them holds up a Lexus key. Then you see them frantically rushing in the house to get ready. Then they get to the car close the garage using Homelink, turn all the lights off, and start the sprinkler system.

Hah, if anyone has links to both ads that would be AWESOME.

I've been looking through my Lexus ad information, as I'm sure I have the RX backup camera ad somewhere. Strangely however I've only come up with other RX 330 launch campaign ads.

Here is a (pay) link which has the ad, under the name 'reverse' however a more official article indicates the ad was titled "One Percent"

LOL, you got me. But these ads, believe it or not, are culled from years and years of searches, here and there. Different postings of commercial sightings on CL have resulted in many threads over the years.

Gotta find those "Something Wicked" ads - perhaps some of the best commercial ad work for a car I've seen. I coveted the GS400 when it first came out, and those commercials really impressed me on the "cool" factor. When time came to buy a car, I couldn't quite afford a GS, so I purchased a 2000 Maxima SE, 5-spd. Tons of fun, but ultimately I had to sell (lost job, I'm in the telecom industry).

I've long since recovered and finally bought a GS about 9 months ago. Call me corny, but I think of the commercials when I mash the throttle - PLEASE HELP FIND THESE!!
