Best engine oil!?

Well, if it's 0W-30, then its the Made in Germany Castrol because I don't think the US ones have that grade. It does say on the bottle on the back, "Made in Germany" but it's rather discreet.

Oh the 0W30 American stuff is still out there you just to have to make sure it says Made in Germany on the back. However, this appears to be less and less of a problem.

I've used regular Dino oil in all of my cars for years, just as my Dad has.
Neither of us has ever suffered a lubrication related engine failure.
My MR2 went 193,000 miles before I finally blew the head gasket
(I never adjusted the valves, probably should have!).
I pulled the pan and the bearings looked new; there was absolutely
NO sludge in the engine and the camshafts basically looked new, too.
My old Fiat had 226,000 miles on the original bottom-end when I sold it.
Regular Castrol GTX 20W50 changed every 3,000 miles.
One thing to remember is if you switch from regular dino oil to full
synthetic you may see some oil leaks. Many of the MR2 guys have
reported new leaks after switching to synthetic.
I change the oil in my GS every 4,000 miles; between oil changes,
when I check the oil it still looks yellow on the dipstick.

i made that mistake with my GS... 62k mi of regular dino oil dealer changes and i decided to go with synthetic... and the next thing i knew my RMS was leaking and there was blowby past the valve stem seals
went immediately back to regular castrol 10w30 and auto-rx and managed to fix my mistakes... never again

Does Wal-Mart sell the "Made in Germany" Castrol? If not where can I buy it at?

I've wanted to ask questions about the oil weight..
It's recommended in my manual to use 10w30....but I have no idea what these weight values mean...and what different weights matter where...
