The civic next to it was a good comparison.

Looks pretty good until that we got to the a$$.
Reminds me of how good the celica looks from the front until the a$$ ruined it

Doesn't look too bad. Much better than the current version. I'd drive that over a Solara any day.

I actually think the car overall looks alright.
Front end kind of reminds me of the new Lancer?
Back end = old Acura CL

The rear is dead on sebring. Much better than the coupe it replaces and will probably sell like hotcakes. Still not my cup of tea though. I'd rather get this than the altima coupe or the solara, though, going just on looks that is.

The front looks like a Scion tC and Honda Ridgeline had a baby.

I'm assuming the blocky front-end has something to do with European
pedestrian impact standards... does that mean this is a "world" Accord?

Hopefully it looks better in person.

Not only does the sedan rear look better imo but the front will look about the same w/ the coupe grill swapped in. The sedan is the way better buy from a practicality/ aesthetic standpoint. Also I still think these type of cars(moderately-priced midsize FWD) are so much better in I4 form. No(or barely any) torque steer, better mpg and a lot of times more reliable due to less stress on a drivetrain which is not built to withstand too much power.

Yup, if they did that then the V6 would make more sense. We'll see

-2 four cylinders will be available.

2.4 L, IVTEC 177 HP
190 HP engine

-The V6 is from the same engine family as the last the Accord but is now 3.5L SOHC. It has; IVTEC, VCM, and it makes 268hp. The VCM has now improved, it can go from 6 cylinders to 4 cylinders to 3 cylinders. Coupe will have different engine later.

-Accord will now be classified as a large car. Rear leg room has improved by a large amount.

-It will have a stiffer suspension and coupes will come with 18inch wheels. A first for a production Honda.

-It will have 700 voice commands, and bluetooth w/navigation system (same system as the RL)

- Will have active steering.

- Honda used alot more high strength steel 48% vs 36% resulting in a super stiff structure.

-No more DX or VP model, there are two different LX models, LX and LX-P, LX-P adds Driver side 8 way pw seats, 16" alloy wheels, Chrome exhaust finisher, security system, illuminated pw win switches.

-VSA, Active head restraint, 4 wheel disk brakes with EBD, Dual Chamber side airbags, TPMS, ACE Body Structure, ABS, DRL standard on all models.

The front end has grown on me, but that rear I'm sorry to say still looks horrible .

Interesting info from Vtec.net SICK. Dual chamber airbags eh? So Honda is following Toyota in that regard j/k.

I'm interested in hearing official specs. Styling and the interior aside, this should be a very well engineered car.
