Totally UNJAG and UNspectacular. I can't say this is the best looking in class, which is what Jag needs.

Those gauges are circa 1997. I think it will do just like the S-type. I doubt it will have class leading power and dynamics, so it will be midpack.

Wow, they really dumbed down the concept for this one, didn't they.

The rear looked great, but the front, with its way-too-massive headlamps, has lost all semblance of aggression. The interior looks pretty cheap, and actually looks exactly like that of a Lincoln. All in all, pretty disappointed, but will wait for official shots for a better opinion.

Honestly it looks like a mix between a Volvo and the Ford Mondeo.

Like others have said, this is very unfortunate

man what's with the tacky side vents these days.

the only company that executes it well is bmw.

GM, jag, lexus...... all suck at it.
and it has zero functionality.

They should have kept the smaller concept headlights as that made a HUGE difference in its design. Its dumbed down a little to much, but then again that happens with EVERY concept. I think its still a good looking vehicle, and should be a worthy competitor. At least the rear looks stunning.

It looks fairly similar to the concept. The headlights are less aggressive but that's so it can appeal to a wider audience.

Wow, I've got to say, that front end looks great in that magazine scan. Still, could have looked EONS better with the concept's cat-like headlamps, but still, looks good.

Gferg, dyou have the rest of that scan?

18 cubic foot trunk. Its long for this clas, 193 inches, but I guess cars are getting bigger.
I can't believe they are putting no new engines in it, but the same tired ones. Sigh.

At least they seem to be using them well. This car will come STANDARD with a V8!

The only other pic I came across. No more J-gate.

Yea, I like that idea. Plus the current Supercharged version is not supposed to be a R model (from what I have read so far). Instead a new 500+ version will wear the R badge.
