Why??? All I want to know is why???
Last week I was traveling through Virginia and passed this 2007 camry (2532) 4cyl LE with a canvas top. I don’t ask any more. Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. I was doing 70mph and trying to shoot with my phone at the same time.

Around here, you see those on every kind of car imaginable. They're most popular on Cadillacs and Lincolns, but I've seen Camrys, Avalons, Accords, 300Cs etc etc etc....
Those "Carriage tops", as they're called, are quite possibly the dumbest car accessory/modification ever thought up. Pay anywhere from $2k to $15k to get all the problems associated with a fabric convertible top (fading, cracking, tearing, etc), without any of the benefits (ie, the roof doesn't come off).

We call that the "LLC package."
(Late-Life Crisis)
it probably has the owners name written in cursive pinstripe on the
driver's door, too. Add gold emblems, chrome wheels, and Vogue
tires and the look is complete!
Looks like someone really wanted a Cadillac or Buick instead...
