Shouldn't be too long before we see that, and I hope we do. Good thing his daily is not a hummer otherwise imagine how much gas a year!

Generally I feel a car that reaches 150K in that short of time actually has less over all wear and tear than the same car hitting 150K over 5-10 years. As long as the maintenance is kept up I'd bet this car goes longer than other typical Yaris cars. That is just my guess though.

Probably more than 425 miles a day, since it's only August. He drives much more than even the Canadian Prius taxi driver recently reported, who racked up just 160k km (100k miles) per year. At least he's smart (and responsible) enough to choose a car with the best highway fuel economy in the US to do that.

Like you said, it hasn't even been a full year yet. Plus, he has to take
some time off here and there. So yeah, some days he must drive like 700-800 miles.
I've read comments from a lot of Yaris owners who begin to really like or even prefer the center gauge ounce they get used to it. They say it keeps your eyes closer to the road. And you don't have to turn your neck, just your eyes a bit.
