lets get real guys, not all races will every be equal....we're looking at a real world situation right now. Both of these cars will line up eventually. I doubt you ever go to race someone and say, "sorry our cars are technically in differant classes so this race doesn't make sense".
Just please keep to the original comparison regardless of wether or not you think they are "in the same class".

The IS-F is not out yet, so we can't say if a Procede 335i will beat it in a straight line. But what would you rather have; a fast chipped car with a voided warranty and reliability problems, or a fast stock car with full warranty and rock solid reliability plus better track performance?

You may need the 15k or the money you saved later to fix the car![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
If I can afford, I would get the M3,IS-F or C63. It could be Possible that the 335i(procede)can hang with the IS-F but I don't want a 135i(procede) being faster than my 335i(procede).....one of the reasons I changed my mind on the 335i.

we all kno that the IS-F will not disappoint. Just look as their entry into the sport sedan markets. Lexus made sure its name was mentioned with bmw/mb when a real comparison was done.
The IS was a descent competitor IMO...it was a toyota with a Lexus badging but it was very nice to drive and it really stole the show when introduced into the US market. it ate away at bmw/mb sales.
then the 2nd gen GS...this improvement, i feel, made bmw/mb really take a hard look at themselves and realize that Lexus was not joking when bringin forth their lineup.
in the end the IS-F i beleive will make a very good impression to the market. if what rumors i'm hearing is tru from my source in japan...it will have at least 440hp and about 400tq (the tq is iffy for me) but if its that good off the table, the IS-F will hold its own in the tests.
in the end, the germans are only this great due to the pressure from Lexus...and like every powerhouse, Lexus won't turn down the pressure, they'll push hard for that #1 spot!
