I saw a yellow one of these in motorcycle parking today at school, it was sexy but i had no idea how expensive this bike is

It's $20k, according to my local dealer....same as the regular 1098S.

I'd go with the yellow, but there's a special place in my heart for the F4....the first version a little more than the current one, but definitely the most beautiful production bike I've ever seen. At $8k more than the 1098 ($3k more than the S), though, it's more than a little bit steep.

Actually, the Tricolore is about $25k, but mark-ups for the bike has made it closer to $30k. The regular 1098S is $20k.

The difference? The 1098S Tricolore comes standard with the full 70mm Termignoni 2-1-2 Exhaust System and the Drudi Performance Tricolore paint scheme, plus racing bronze body frame and wheels. Those make the $5k difference.

If you can get your local dealer to get you $5k off your Tricolore (or for the same price as the "regular" 1098S, I highly suggest you buy two...

I go with red because red is hot and shiny. Yellow is bang inyour face wow but that wears out after while.
