996 TT end of discussion.
The only reason to get the 335 is practicality.

funny i read it again now, it reminded me the story on how i got into lexus...

back in 02, i was offered a very clean gs400 for 25k. at the time, we were thinking of either the acura rsx or the vw beetle, which came out about the same price. end of story, talked to bunch of people and it was completely one sided -- gs400!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm offended........you might as well cuss out my mom then bring up a question like this. People (like me) would die for any Porsche including a 996T, why would you even consider this?

Seems to be a split decision amongst everyone here...NOT!
I suppose the moral of the post is if you do go through with this....don't share it with anyone as the grief will be immense.

I was waiting to see what 335i owners would say
Besides the free maintenance and the practicality, even I would go for the 996tt

You have your xb as a DD don't you?

Very nice I checked on some Porshes near my job and here is a 996C4 one selling for $38,500..http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...0000&cardist=5 The turbo version should be another 10k... Less $$$ than a 335 Bimmer.. Wow!

My offer still stands

Mine too!

Don't get me wrong, I love my 335i; so far it's the best car I've owned, and a 996tt wouldn't be a practical dd for me, but I'd still keep the 996tt over a new 335i for sure. God I love 996tt's...

I would go buy a 335i right now and trade you for your 996TT. What do you think?
