300c SRT, my buddy has one with headers, cams, exhaust, ecu and nos and that thing literally FLIES.

I'm not a huge fan of any of them but the 300 SRT is my personal winner

Hold out for the Pontiac G8 with the 6 speed. That thing is looking to be a monster and styling is top notch. It's based off of this beauty:

I wish they just brought the HSV Clubsport R8 as is. If they did, I seriouslly would consider buying one.

I agree on the Holden/Pontiac G8. That looks promising. IMO Chrysler is the worst domestic automaker of the Big Three, overall. Ford has a few nice products, so does GM. I have get to drive something from Chrysler that does something well.

Not a huge fan of any of them, but I would choose the Magnum. I like that hearse.

The Pontiac G8 is going to be awesome. They just introduced a Supercharged 500+hp version for the Vauxhall model. I'm sure that will eventually find its way over to the U.S. in some future GM product.

I'm not sure I agree. Despite slightly bolder styling than the GTO, Pontiac is making the same mistake with the G8 that Dodge made with the Charger.....4 doors. The 4 doors on the Charger has been the car's chief criticism.....and probably also will be on the G8. The G8's V8 will also be rated at 360 HP.......less than the GTO's 400, and this in a larger, heavier car.

Hey sick,

If your looking for a car in this category I would choose the new Dodge Challenger 100%!!! I know it's not on your poll but check it out. That car is awesome! and it has the power that these others have maybe more. I think it looks the most like it's classic counterpart. One word...BADA$$!!!

Not a fan of any of them. But If I were to win one of them on a cheesy game show. It would be the 300C. It kinda classy, at least exterior wise. For the record, I don't think any of them are bad or ugly cars. They're just way too common for me. Nice American cars though. But for me if I were going domestic, the new look of Buick does it for me. Have you seen them??

I drove the Charger once.
HORRIBLE would be my best description.
And as noted above the interior is the WORST I have seen. The inside of the 300C looks like a flat box with buttons in the center console.
I never drove the Magnum but I doubt its any different from the Charger. Hell its almost the same body.

I have no respect for the Charger because it is like, the #1 full-size rental fleet car. Making an icon into a fleet car is like making a Corvette become the typical "Sports car" rental at the airport.

Rental-car? There are plenty of other reasons to dislike the Charger...the one about being a rental car, IMO, is rather bogus. And, speaking of rentals, there are places that rent out Corvettes, too, along with Vipers and other exotics. One of my close friends used to work for one of them...I helped him make a company deal on two Viper GTS coupes. Buisness is typically good in the warmer seasons but drops off to near-nothing in the winter.

I had a new 05 Hemi Magnum prior to trading it in for a GX. I quickly got tired of the cheap interior with the elbow hurting armrests which gave instant calluses. I also could not get used to the narrow gun slit opening windows. It made it very uncomfortable when trying to drive the car with my arm resting on the open window sill, my arm had to be held up at a very uncomfortable angle which was no fun. Visibility out of all of the windows was also terrible.
But the power from the hemi engine was nice.
