So wet and dressed what do you figure it is?
Don't get me wrong - I know 100 pounds of extra weight in the nose is nothing to dismiss, but I doubt that it makes this car's handling that bad. If it did you'd find people also complaining about the added weight of aftermarket turbos, subs, etc... all stuff that can easily add that much weight and more to one end or the other.

The current wet weight for the s2k is listed at 326lbs.
I too wouldn't worry too much about the extra weight. Hell, i'm willing to sacrifice some 100lbs if it means I wont have to dump the clutch at 6000 RPM to launch the car
I'm sure there are things we can do to lighten up the front end a bit. The engine is going to sit behind the front axle anyways so the weight penalty isn't that bad I suppose.

That Miata swap is pretty common, I remember hearing/seeing one the first time, I was like "wtf is that?!?" If I had the time and resources, I'd like to fit an LS1 into an SC, though Im sure it has been done. I would just foresee too much time and effort though.

Into one of the best cars in the world? You must be smoking something if you think the S2000 is one of the best cars in the world...no offense, to each their own...But I would love to know what else meets your criteria!

lol i hear you. Now i have my falme suite on but damm it all to hell if i or anyone else could figure out how to get an ls1, ls2 or an ls7 in an NSX i would have one in the drive way yeaterday. I dont care what anyone says the lsx series engines either weigh less or so slightly more than so many of the engines there bieng swapped for the weight is negligible stock for stock. Now if and when you start adding turbos or blowers to the stock motors the lsx series motors are bieng swapped for forget it. A HCI lsx will romp on what ever stock motor is boosted with tq for tq hell you can see 500+hp plus tq on a mild build with a crazy curve on an ls1, or ls2
