Check out my brand Used new car...Low Sc cont..
Well, this post will probably get moved but I thought I'd share my new toy with you guys..
I just bought (as in about two months ago) a 91 300zx Twinturbo. It was a rare find, as it was (heh heh) 100% stock with only 75K on the odo. I couldn't believe the milage but according to Carfax, the car has steadly been getting higher in the miles but it looked good. Other than the drivers seat having the leather crack and split apart the car is actually in really good condition. For the record, this is the second oldest car I've ever owned.. only my first car a 87 CRX is older.. =)
Since the purchase, I've since added some 19" DPE wheels, a Stillen Intake (I could not believe how much this made a difference), replaced the Airbag with a proper Momo Race wheel and of course some lowering springs..
Now for the SC related part so they don't tow my post.. When I got the Z, it was over 100 degs out and with me driving the SC, I got a small run at my cousin driving the Z. It was almost about dead even to about 100. So in cold weather I think the Z would get it plus with the intake, I'm guessing that the Z should now inch on the SC...
My Poor SC has been driven three times since I bought the Z. But I'm still planning on keeping both cars... I'm also hoping that I can get a picture of all three of my "rides" in one picture but the condo complex I live in a horrible back drop so this won't be easy...
Well I'll check in from time to time but I mostly lurk on the Z boards now..
P.s. Here's a pic of my cousins FD and my new Z with the wheels...

Hey thanks guys.. And henry for letting my post stay here for a bit... When it does get moved.. Just delete it...
As for the 350z vs 300zx TT.. Nah no way. I've had many run in's with 350z's with my SC and I've yet to lose (see my above comparison between the SC and the TT) and if you search Youtube there is a video of TopGear testing old vs new (search for Topgear 300zx turbo) and they showed a drag race at the end of the video and the guy with the twin turbo blew the lauch and still pulled past the 350 easily. The crowd loved it...
But I will say that the 300zx TT isn't a car that will win many short stop light races... Getting it to spool off from a light isn't easy.

Dan, man you gotta get on the mid-life crisis band wagon.. You know for the price of a good set of mods for the SC you might be able to pick up a FC turbo 2!!! These cars really are as good as I remembered. I just wished I had picked up one earlier...

I like them in red with polished wheels. They always turned my head like that.
Nice looking ride.

Pricing on the TT z's are kinda screwed up right now. Blue book on my car is in the low 8K range for an excellent cond one with super low miles but I ended up paying 12K for my car. So my insurance is really turning my stomach...
But when I was looking, a fair condition running (very important) TT Z with under 150K or miles (pretty typ) with some mods, were going for around 10k and cherry high mod ones were in the 15-17K range. Mine was the only 100% stock super low mile one at the time with a price I could afford, so I snatched it up.
But I was told to take your time finding a good one as TT z's are known for being trophies on Jack Stands if your not careful.. To replace the turbos, the engine has to come out, and they eat injectors have cooling problems. But so far my car has only needed steering rack bushings (which cost me $30) and power steering fluid..
Me and my buds are loving the 90s super cars revisited.. and Pinks has nothing on me.. hah hah....
